St. Germain was born in August 15, 1704, the son of Prince Francis Ragoczy of Transylvania and his wife, Princess Takely. However, according to St. Germain, his biological mother was in fact Princess Margareta, Princess Takely's youngest sister. Both Princesses were of the Medici dynasty. After Princess Takely's sudden death, Francis Ragoczy took a second wife. St. Germain was nine years of age at the time of her death.
Almost immediately after Prince Francis's new wife bore a son, St. Germain was separated from his father and officially adopted by the family of his biological mother. By this time, he was acknowledged as fine prodigy, exhibited extraordinary talents in everything he attempted; he mastered the eight different languages and the advanced levels of almost all the fields of academic knowledge. From the age of twelve through twenty-one, in Italy, he continued to extend his education aligned with the subject of gnostic and esoteric knowledge. Italy was the center of the best education one could possibly obtain in that era. During those nine years of scholastic performance, St. Germain conceived the richest fruition and reached his greatest profundity. By age nineteen, he additionally acquired thirteen other languages.
Upon the completion of his education in Italy, he began traveling worldwide, tracing the footsteps of prototypes searching for an ancient knowledge and Divine perennial wisdom aiming to acquire a supernatural power.
