There is nothing that says "except for assault rifles, firearms having magazines over seven rounds, firearms that look different, or firearms meant only for sporting use." To declare anything except the original directive language of the Second Amendment is absolutely wrong. What to do about it? There are certain options, all of which I leave open for study and cogitation by the reader. Perhaps we are nearing the point where some of the other language , e.g., revolutionary changes in government, contained in our founding fathers' documents may be appropriate. We are already at the point where there are not enough police to protect us from the evil things that lurk out there right now.
