Today, however, the master designer for the home tinkerer is a fascinating professional who calls himself Richard Sardaukar, which is also the name of a character from Frank Herbert's novel Dune. He is the impressario of Sardaukar Press, located in Germantown, Tennessee, and publishes pamphlets and plans for building a variety of improvised / modified weaponry, including firearms.
