Using a few shapes, like circles and rectangles, you can create a dummy marionette to help you set your character’s pose. Don’t worry about it not being accurate enough, this will just be your guide, and make sure not to draw to darkly, just dark enough to help you see it but light enough as to not ruin your drawing.
