Your device must be in a supported region to use the earthquake alert service normally. If this Service is not supported at your location, we will remind you of service unavailability at your current location under the earthquake alert switch. Earthquake Alert Service and Disclaimer
To use the earthquake alert service, please fully read this Statement in detail, especially the disclaimer clause.
Please fully understand and agree to all the content of this Statement (including the disclaimer) before using the earthquake alert service (hereinafter referred to as "this Service") provided by Guangdong Tianchen Network Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", or "our").

I. About this Service
The earthquake alert data and technology of this Service are provided by the Institute of Care-Life, Chengdu. This Service supports alert demo, alert introduction, emergency contact, and nearby emergency shelter services. You can opt in to enable the alert service and disable it at any time by turning off the Enable Earthquake Alert switch in the earthquake alert settings page.
1. Alert demo: You can use this function to learn what message will be sent and how we will send you the alert after we receive the alert information.
2. Alert introduction: We will provide various alert information including the working principles and functions of an earthquake alert so you can better understand this Service and know how to get to safety.
3. Emergency contact: In case of an emergency, you can use this function to quickly dial your emergency contact for help.
4. Emergency shelters nearby: You can learn the locations of nearby emergency shelters in advance and go there when needed.

II. User personal information protection
1. To provide you this Service, we need access to your location information in order to determine whether you are located in a supported region and whether you can receive the earthquake alert push notifications. We also need your location information to show the emergency shelter results when you use the SOS function. When you choose to use a third-party map navigation service via us, your relevant personal information will be collected directly by the third party, and we will not be liable for the collection and processing of such information.
2. When you choose to use the SOS function, we will collect the emergency contact information you have filled in, such as the name and phone number of your emergency contact, to provide you the SOS function service when needed.
3. If you are a minor under the age of 18, you should obtain the written consent of your parents or other legal guardians before using this Service.
We shall retain your personal information for the purpose of information collection, or in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. After the purpose for collecting your personal information has been achieved, we will stop retaining data, or desensitize or de-identify such information. If required for reasons of public interest, scientific, historical research or statistical purposes, we will continue to retain relevant data in accordance with applicable laws, even if further data processing is irrelevant to the original purpose of collection. we shall protect your personal information in strict accordance with the vivo Privacy Policy. III. User considerations
1. Please note that the earthquake alert is a fully automatic response triggered seconds after an earthquake starts. To receive alerts in real time, please maintain a stable network connection. You understand and agree that to provide you with effective services, data charges may be incurred during the use of this software and you should bear such expenses by yourself.
2. You understand and agree that when this function is enabled, earthquake alert messages will not be restricted by your Do Not Disturb or volume settings. You will still receive an alert message and tone even if your device is in Do Not Disturb mode or silent mode.
3. You understand the working principle and functions of earthquake alerts and that the alerts typically have a blind zone, an area around the epicenter that cannot be alerted before the earthquake starts.
4. You understand and agree that you need to take reasonable safety measures when receiving an earthquake alert. As technologies are constantly updated and developed, the earthquake alert service might have some discrepancies. If you feel an earthquake is taking place but have not received an alert, you still need to take shelter.
5. Please take reasonable safety measures according to the time of the alert and the time it will take to arrive at a safe location.

IV. Disclaimer
1. The earthquake alert service is an optional function. By activating the switch, you are willing to receive earthquake alert messages.
2. You understand that earthquake alerts can only be used as reference for you to evaluate safety risks and make safety decisions. Earthquake alerts can only provide an alert period of several to dozens of seconds. You shall be responsible for all the risks and consequences resulting from any actions you take based on the earthquake alert service.
3. To receive earthquake alerts, you need to keep your phone connected to the internet. You understand and agree that the transmission of earthquake alert information depends on various factors, including but not limited to the network reliability, phone signal strength, the operation of the app, as well as third-party reasons such as communication line faults, technical issues, network issues, terminal faults, system instabilities, and other force majeure factors. Therefore, the information provider cannot guarantee that you can receive alerts in real time and shall not be liable for any losses caused thereby.
4. We do not make any representations or warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to representations and warranties regarding the effectiveness, accuracy, integrity, merchantability, applicability of special purposes, and non-infringement, as well as those regarding the following circumstances: (1) satisfying your specific needs; (2) being provided in a non-stop, timely, and secure manner without any faults; (3) guaranteeing that all the information you obtain from using this Service is correct or reliable; (4) fixing any faults or errors as part of this Service. We have no control over your network carrier, and therefore provide no guarantees regarding the carrier's network coverage, availability, or service quality.

V. Third-party services
You acknowledge that the technology and earthquake data of the earthquake alert service are provided by the Institute of Care-Life, Chengdu. You shall use your own judgment to decide if you want to reach an agreement with the provider of the product or service when selecting third-party products and services via this Service. we cannot completely ensure the quality of the third-party products or services. Any disputes between you and the provider of the third-party products or services you use are of no relation to us.
Any disputes arising from third-party products and services shall be resolved by the third party, and we shall assume no responsibility hereof. we will not provide customer service support for any third-party products and services. You can contact the third party if you need such support.

VI. Governing law and jurisdiction
Unless otherwise specified by the laws at your location, this Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes between the two parties regarding this Service shall be settled through friendly negotiations; in the event that negotiation fails, the case may be submitted to the court at the defendant's location. If, for any reason, the court of competent jurisdiction holds that any terms or part of the terms herein shall not be enforced, the rest of this Agreement still remains in full force.
We reserve the right to update this service statement at any time, and shall remind you of any updates to this statement via new version releases or evident prompts. By continuing to use our service, you have accepted the updated service statement. This Statement is effective from the date of update.
By enabling and using the earthquake alert service, you agree to the aforementioned terms.
